RE100 Amplifier
High frequencies up to 1.2 GHz used in DOCSIS 3.1 networks are tough on the existing coax cable infrastructure. Especially long distances covered with coax cable might form a problem if the distance between the amplifiers is too big. In such cases, repeaters are a cost-effective way of upgrading the network to DOCSIS 3.1 frequency band.
The RE100 is a simple and small Push-Pull repeater amplifier. It is ideally used on distribution lines when the networks are upgraded to a higher frequency band and compensation for increased cable loss is needed. The RE100 amplifier is D3.1 (1.2 GHz) compatible and the device can be easily upgraded to support D3.1 (204MHz) upstream as well. As the RE100 requires no level adjustments, it offers an easy to install solution that can also act as a line equalizer. No adjustments, fixed 12.5 dB gain and 10 dB tilt (85…1218 MHz). Passive return with 3dB attenuation. 65/85 MHz plug-in diplex filters included. Exterior test point in front. The product supports high feed through current and has efficient surge and ESD protection.
